SARA ELVERA

     I make music to make others happy. I like to see people’s reactions to my voice; even if it is a sad reaction. I like to make people feel emotionally involved in my music. I would like people to be able to relate to the words I have written.

     I love making music because it makes me feel like I am doing something right. Music has always and will always be there. I like making myself happy while playing music and others happy too.

     Music plays a huge part in my life. If it didn’t, I would not currently be at Berklee College of Music. Music is an outlet to everything in life. No matter what mood someone can be in, music will be there through everything. That is why I love music. It can always explain how someone is feeling.

     I would like my audience to be anyone who can relate to what the music and lyrics are saying to them. My music reflects what is happening in my life at the moment. My audience is similar to me and has gone through similar experiences in life.
